I am a long time resident of District 96, and my name is. I am running for Georgia State House 96, to be a voice for the people. As a naturalized citizen of the United States and a resident of Norcross since 1991, I empathize with the large diverse community in our district. My parents moved to Duluth in 1989 with their six children from Dublin, Ireland. As a member of a large family, I have been able to obtain many characteristics that have helped shape who I am today. Also, I've learned through my parents actions and hard work, many virtues such as, dedication, honesty and humility. I have been dismayed by the lack of integrity in Government today. I would like to restore humility back to public office, where honest, hardworking people like my parents, will be represented. I will serve the people of my district with honor and not put myself above them, as politicians often do. In the past I've proved to be a dedicated volunteer and in the future I will continue to volunteer for my constituents to help better our community. As a long time member of the community I have been involved in many organizations, including the Gwinnett County Police Explorers. As a participant for seven years, I've had the privilege to interact with our Law enforcement officers and gain an immense respect for their involvement within our community. Also, as a hardworking individual, I will have no problem working for the enhancement of our community, the peoples quality of life and general welfare.
