  The library also owns a graphic novel version of the classic -- for those patrons who might prefer a more visual experience of this epic tale. The library similarly has audio book versions in MP3 and WMA formats accessible via our EMedialibrary online platform.

  As a public institution, we respond to the needs of our community, which includes our students, but we do not operate in lieu of the academic institutions in our neighborhood. We always remain open to suggestions for our collection, be they book, database, film or magazine recommendations. As a patron, you are welcome to fill out a purchase request form available at any public service desk.

  We are sorry to hear you had trouble finding a copy of Homer’s, The Odyssey at the library. The Lisle Library actually owns several versions of The Odyssey as well as supplemental study materials:
