A Norcross couple have reportedly been receiving fraudulent phone calls from individuals who have manipulated other phone numbers, such as the Norcross Police's phone number, to appear as their own. The husband and wife notified police of the ongoing incident Friday, Nov. 7, according to the Norcross Police report. They told police that the individuals, believed to be two men, have spoken with them in an attempt to collect money "for their client," on a debt that does not exist and is not legitimate. On one call, the first man ringed them from a 347 area code. He told them that he was working with the Norcross Police Department and an officer would be calling them immediately.
