Norcross Police Catch Five Car Burglary Suspects
With the help of community, the suspects were caught red-handed last night and the stolen goods were recovered.
Updated Oct. 18 at 8:28 p.m. A resident of Sunset Hills subdivision in downtown Norcross called the police late last night when he saw a suspicious group of men in the neighborhood. A second phone call came in from Longview, just down the street. The resident was still on the phone with the dispatcher, when officers rolled into the subdivision and gave chase to the suspects, according to the Norcross PD. The men split into two groups but the officers were able to track them down with the help of the residents, who called in to report that people were running through their backyards, according to Cpt. Brian Harr. The men had backpacks that were stuffed with stolen goods, mostly money and electronics, like GPS devices, he said. The incident…
