The location on Indian Trail beat the other frozen treat spots for Best Ice Cream in Norcross.
This week's Readers' Choice was Best Ice Cream, and the votes have been casted. The winner is: Bruster's on Indian Trail Road. While it's a nationwide chain, Bruster's is an old-fashioned ice cream shop that also offers sundaes, smoothies, frozen yogurt, sherbert, ice cream cake and more. Its outdoor seating is oftentimes a spot to see families and teenagers relaxing while devouring their frozen treats before they melt. At the particular 1590 Indian Trail Rd. location, every Thursday is banana day, where customers can get 50 percent off a banana split if they bring their own bananas. Also available starting this month is the return of Bruster's Peach and Black Raspberry flavors and Strawberry Shortcakes. The Indian Trail frozen eatery lead…

This poll is the second win for the restaurant this year (it also won Best Sweet Tea). Norcross Station Cafe just recently started opening on Sundays, so this'll be the first Mother's Day brunch it serves, and it looks promising: eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, french toast sticks, shrimp and grits, a beef brisket and much, much more. There'll even be an emporium table with a selection of various cookies, muffins and sliced fruit to crave that sweet tooth, and a kids' table with items such as corn dogs, french fries, and macaroni and cheese. The local pub received the most votes for having the best patio in Norcross.
In this week's Readers' Choice, the votes were casted for the Best Restaurant Patio in Norcross. The polls are now closed, and the winner is: Iron Horse Tavern. Established in an old, red brick building, Iron Horse's wooden deck usually has at least a few souls resting on it on a warm day. With seating up to 60 at 10 tables, many bring their dogs and pets while grabbing a burger and a Hefeweisen. What separates the tavern's patio from other eateries' is the neighborhood bar atmosphere: Patrons often go to not only eat and drink, but to converse with other guests who may not be in their party. "People convene out there," said Lindsay Krause, a bartender at Iron Horse. "For others, you head to your table and you stay to your table. Ours has …

The Best Sweet Tea in town goes to Norcross Station Cafe.
This week's Readers' Choice was Best Sweet Tea, and voters picked and gave their two cents on where they go in Norcross for that Southern nectar. The polls are now closed, and the winner is: Norcross Station Cafe. Since Norcross Station was one of the first restaurants to open on Peachtree Street, it's no wonder the restaurant was voted best with 42 percent of the vote. The renovated train depot officially opened in 1993, so the staff has had plenty of time to perfect its tea concoction. And perfection has been achieved. If you haven't tried the cafe's sweet tea yet, just envision the following scene: You're sitting at a table outside on a warm spring day. You take a bite out of one of the restaurant's American-style burgers served with …
