Third Thursday Arts Party to Feature Emmy Award-Winning Filmmaker
The free Norcross event will screen independent films from area filmmakers this week.
This month's Third Thursday Arts Party in downtown Norcross will screen several films from local, metro and regional talent, including one Emmy award-winning filmmaker. Shown on an endless loop, the films will be screened at three local venues: the Norcross Arts Center (also known as The Nest), Kudzu Art Zone and Vargas & Harbin Studio Gallery. While the locations are within walking distance of one another, patrons will be able to grab a ride on the Norcross Art Cart to check out each gallery and see when each showing is scheduled. Ranging from three to 30 minutes, more than 13 films are scheduled for the evening, and they include: "Summer Hill: a Story of Community," which is an inspirational film in its seventh year on public television…
