From Lawrenceville Patch Accused child murderer Christian Vasquez is now in custody at the Gwinnett County Detention Center. According to the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office's website, Vasquez was booked into the jail Thursday at 9:21pm. Vasquez was arrested July 2012 in Puebla, Mexico, following a joint investigation by Mexican authorities, The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office, The Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Department of Justice. On June 21, 2008, arrest warrants for Vasquez were obtained, charging him with the murder of a three year old girl at a home on Stillwater Lane in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
