Taxi Driver Ordered to Take off Pants During Robbery

Inside the Police Reports: The armed robbery took place off Mitchell Road in Norcross.

A taxi driver told police he was ordered to take off his pants during an armed robbery in the city of Norcross this month. According to the Norcross Police report, the driver said he picked up a man from Stone Mountain Inn and Suites in Tucker around 6:30 a.m. one Tuesday in December. He drove the passenger to a set of residential units on the 2200 block of Mitchell Road, where he stated the cost of the fare. The passenger exited the taxi and walked into one of the units, but after five minutes, he didn't return, so the driver knocked on the door.
