Taco Bell Employee Robbed During Bank Drop-Off

Inside the Police Reports: A worker at a Norcross-area fast-food restaurant was robbed one morning during the routine trip to the bank.

A Taco Bell employee in the Norcross area told police that he was robbed during his routine funds drop-off to the bank. According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the incident occurred one Monday morning at the Taco Bell located at 1720 Indian Trail Lilburn Road. The employee, a 23-year-old Norcross resident, told police that he was walking to his car in the parking lot. With a gun in hand, an unknown man approached the worker from behind some bushes and said, "Give me the money. I know you have the money. I'll kill you if you don't give me the money." The employee said that he didn't have the money on him, but he could get it if he came into the vehicle with him to do his routine pick-up via the drive-thru window. The two got into …

Man Sought in String of Burger King Robberies

Police say that at least 20 robberies may be linked to the same person.

Gwinnett County Police say that in the last three months approximately 20 Burger King restaurants have been held up at gunpoint in the Metro area, about six of them in Gwinnett. Through comparing surveillance footage and witness accounts, they believe the same man is responsible for the robberies, along with hold-ups of multiple KFCs and Taco Bells. They are now seeking the public’s help in locating the man, who they describe as a dark-skinned black male with a muscular build, approximately 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He has a short haircut and wears diamond earrings.  The man usually comes into the restaurants early in the morning while employees are setting up, according to Detective Brendon Hix of the Gwinnett Police …
