Norcross Driver Leads Police in High Speed Chase
The chase started in Georgia and lasted for more than 30 miles into South Carolina.
A Norcross man led police in a two-state chase Tuesday that started in Georgia and ended in South Carolina, according to the Anderson Independent Mail. Wesley Holmes, 29, has been charged with driving under the influence, failure to stop, possession of marijuana, child endangerment and a seatbelt violation, South Carolina Highway Patrol told the publication. Holmes was driving a Honda sport utility vehicle with a 16-year-old inside. A Georgia State Patrol trooper tried to stop the man about a mile from the South Carolina border, but he led authorities on a chase that lasted for more than 30 miles.
