Norcross Elementary Student Honored as Rotary Club's Student of the Month
The Peachtree Corners Rotary Club named two students this month, and Shirley Flores is one of them.
The Peachtree Corners Rotary Club recognizes a student who has done something outstanding whether academically, athletically or through community service. Recently, two students were named the club's Student of the Month. Shirley Flores of Norcross Elementary was one of the students recognized by the club. Flores received the following proclamation from the school: Teaching is truly rewarding but without students who display the thirst for knowledge, it would not be not as pleasurable. This year, I have had the pleasure of teaching an amazing individual who really embrace learning and thrives to go beyond her potential in all subject areas.
