Controversial filmmaker Michael Moore wrote in his blog this week that releasing the photos would help hasten the demise of the National Rifle Association.

Never one to shy away from controversy, famed movie maker Michael Moore this week suggested that a good way to take control of the gun debate would be to release photos of the young Sandy Hook victims. Moore wrote that the day the crime scene photos of the Newtown Tragedy are released would be the day the gun control debate comes to an end. He predicts that someone will release the photos at some point. Others, however, are not so sure it will happen. The Washington Post, reported that releasing the photos would be …

Is Your Child's School Safe?

Could the shooting that took place in Connecticut happen at your child's school?

The Connecticut shooting has awakened many parents, especially me. Most teachers and school administrators focus on ways to make sure students are present in class, safely getting to the right bus and safely making it home, but the thought of some random person walking into your school and shooting students is not something that we prepare for. Every school goes through the traditional fire drill and hurricane drill, but what about the “Stranger-Danger” drill? The president said it best that this is becoming all too familiar to our nation. So is your child’s school safe? Over the last two months, I took the time to visit a few elementary schools within Lawrenceville. My son will be attending kindergarten next year so before we make the …
