Selling your home now gives you some advantages that you would not have in the buying season that starts in early spring. Here are several good reasons to put your home on the market during the holidays. 1. Sellers selling during the holidays, have less competition. Many people are holding off about listing their home until spring. In a market where inventory is already low, sellers putting their home on the market now have a great advantage. Now just three months later, a city manager is on board to handle the operations of Gwinnett's largest city that includes some 38,000 residents and 2,000 or so businesses. Julian Jackson is the man who will take on the gargantuan task of getting a brand new city up and running. Patch had the chance sit down with him recently to ask a few questions. The first, why was he interested in the job? The opportunity to be a new city manager for a brand new city was an opportunity too good to pass up he said. "It's a small club," said Jackson referring to how few get the opportunity to be involved in standing up a brand new city. "It's really …

A Slice of the Green Life

Just Say No to TSPLOST - Spaghetti Junction Here I Come

"People here generally like to hop in their over-sized vehicles and drive where they want to go when they want to go, even if it means there's a strong possibility of sitting in traffic for hours."

Area voters spoke loud and clear in Tuesday's election, with over 70 percent of the voters soundly voting NO on the penny sales tax increase to support area public transportation initiatives.
