A quick thinking apartment leasing agent used his cell phone camera to video a man who was breaking into one of the apartments in the Conservatory Apartments in Peachtree Corners. Now Gwinnett police are searching for him and an apparent accomplice who are suspected of trying to rob one of the apartments on Oct. 28. Gwinnett Police responded to a call at the apartment building located on Peachtree Corners Circle after a resident reported that she had "heard noises which led her to look out into the breezeway of her apartment building," according to police spokesman, Cpl. A man was shot and killed at a Peachtree Corners extended hotel early Friday morning. Corporal Edwin Ritter, Gwinnett Police spokesman, said police were called to the Homestead Extended Stay motel on Jimmy Carter Boulevard at 1:20 a.m. Friday. Ritter said that when police arrived they "discovered a black male laying in the breezeway of the 100 building with multiple gunshot wounds." The man has been identified as as Eric Marshall. "He died on scene as a result of being shot," said Ritter. "Mr. Marshall is believed to be either 31 or 32 years of age and recently moved to the area, possibly from California. Gwinnett County Police Homicide unit is investigating the shooting death. Ritter said the man's death is "believed to be drug related." …

On Friday, May 11, Gwinnett Police arrested a convicted felon for the rape of a Peachtree Corners woman that occurred on March 18, 2012 in the Bristol Court Apartments. Police arrested Lorenzo Bradley, 40, who was living in a neighboring building in the same complex, said Cpl. Jake Smith, spokesman for the Gwinnett County Police Department. Shortly after the crime, Gwinnett Police circulated a sketch of Lorenzo which lead to questioning by detectives. "Police had interviewed Bradley a few days after the attack, due to a 'suspicious person' call from another resident of the complex," said Smith.
