Norcross Day at 'The Nutcracker' Is Dec. 15

Mark your calendars for an afternoon of the Christmas classic performed by the Gwinnett Ballet.

Update, 8:55 a.m. "The Nutcracker" is back at the Gwinnett Ballet, and Norcross is having its own day at the theatre Saturday, Dec. 15. The ballet is offering a discount of up to $8 for residents and city employees to the 2:30 p.m. matinee showing, so join your neighbors at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center in Duluth. Norcross residents Mary Grace Manton and Emma Duke will take the stage with dozens of other ballerinas in this year's production. There's also another Norcross surprise in store, but you'll just have to go to find out more. Some Old, Lots New in GBT's 'Nutcracker'

Gwinnett Ballet Theatre's 30th anniversary production features new backdrops, sets, costumes, and choreography.

There will be some of the old and a lot of the new in the Gwinnett Ballet Theatre’s 30thanniversary production of the “The Nutcracker” Dec. 2-18 at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center. The Gwinnett Ballet Theatre announced that audiences will experience new backdrops, sets, costumes, and choreography that will update the traditional holiday story of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince. Eleven public performances and five outreach shows will be offered on weekends in both matinee and evening performances. The Gwinnett Performing Arts Center is a part of the Gwinnett Center complex located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
