UPDATE: 11Alive New is reporting that the 72-year-old woman who went missing Jan. 2 has been found safe. According to a television news report, she was located in her own yard and is currently at home. She will be evaluated. The search for the missing 72-year-old resumed at 7 a.m. Jan. 3. Gwinnett County Police Department reports that the search is being coordinated with the assistance of code enforcement officers, the Gwinnett Sheriff's Office, Suwanee PD, and the Georgia State Defense Force. GCPD spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said at this time they do not suspect foul play and are still treating it as a missing person's case. It has been reported that Petersen suffers from dementia. Thalia Smalls was located about 8:15 a.m. today.
Updated at 12:06 p.m. The Norcross Police Dept. located a missing 12-year-old girl at 8:15 a.m after a long evening. The parents of Thalia Smalls said they last saw her on the 500 block of Nesbit Street in the City of Norcross around 4 p.m. yesterday, triggering police and the media to put a call out for a black female with short, straight black hair, wearing glasses. After seeing a news report, a neighbor of one of Smalls' friends called to say she had seen her. She was located at the friends' house, where she had gone without permission, according to Cpt. Brian Harr of the Norcross Police Dept. "I would do it all again," he said, adding that safety is his top priority.

Police say she is safe and unharmed.
Pricilla Ristick, the 12-year-old girl, who went missing Sunday from a shopping center parking in Lilburn, has been found safe and unharmed, Gwinnett Police reported this morning. Pricilla was found in Las Vegas by police after the cell phone she was using was traced. More on this story to come.

Gwinnett Police are looking for a 12-year-old girl reported missing Sunday in Lilburn. Police reported Monday night that Pricilla Ristick was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of 895 Indian Trail Road, in unincorporated Lilburn. The girl’s uncle, Joey Thompson, told police he and his niece were selling flowers in the parking lot at that location when he went inside one of the businesses. Thompson told police that when he came back outside, the girl was gone. Police say Pricilla may have gotten into a white van driven by a woman. No other information was available to police. The girl is described as 4 feet tall and 95 pounds. She has red hair and was wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. If you have any information …

Update: The man has been located and is back with his family. Gwinnett Police asks the community to be on the lookout for a 73-year-old man who was reported missing this morning after not returning home from a walk. Police say Soeparmin Soeparmin (both names are the same) was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, blue shirt and blue jeans around 7:30 a.m. in the Peachtree Boulevard/Bush Road area in Duluth. A 60-year-old Asian female, Anh Le, went missing in unincorporated Norcross. She has been located and is with her family.
Updated 8:55 a.m. Ahn Le, a 60-year-old Asian woman, was reported missing from the Sturbridge Square apartments at 1507 Holcomb Bridge Road around 1 p.m. Thurs. Jan. 6. She was described by the Gwinnett County Police as being mentally challenged. Police were able to located Le and she is now with her family. The Gwinnett County Police said she is in good health. She does not drive, but frequently walks in the area. When she went missing, she was wearing black pants, a tan sweater and a black purse.
