News Nearby: Duluth Man Found Dead in Garage; Police Looking for Suspect

An incident report released Friday (March 29) by Duluth Police confirmed the identity of a Duluth man whose body was found wrapped in a blanket in his garage. He was identified as Donald Singer, 57, the sole resident of a home on Montheath Pass. Duluth Police responded Thursday (March 28) to a 911 call from Singer’s daughter Jessica Black of Lawrenceville, who found his body. The 911 call was received about 4 p.m. Duluth Police Friday issued a BOLO for a 1988 Porsche 944 believed stolen from the homicide scene between March 24 and March 29. The car had a Georgia tag #ADK6725. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call Detective Jimmy Purvis in the Duluth PD’s Criminal Investigations Unit at 770-476-4151. Jeffrey Hubbard, who was driving the personal watercraft that was involved with the death of Atlanta youth Kile Glover on Lake Lanier last year, has been indicted by a Hall County grand jury. Hubbard, described as a friend of Glover's family, has been indicted on the following charges: homicide by vessel, serious injury by vessel, reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft, and boat traffic violation, according to a Department of Natural Resources news release. Hubbard was arrested Friday (March 1) by rangers with Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and is in the Hall County Detention Center, the release said. News Nearby: Grayson Students Arrested in Homicide of 14-Year-Old

Police believe robbery was the objective.

Gwinnett County Police Department announced Friday that three teens have been arrested in connection with the Dec. 19 murder of Paul Sampleton, 14, of Grayson. Officials say all three were fellow students at Grayson High School. Arrested and in custody are Larnell Sillah, 15, charged with homicide, Romaine Stewart, 18, and Achiel Morgan, 15, both charged with armed robbery. Sillah and Morgan have both been charged as adults, according to officials. "Detectives believe the motive for this crime was robbery," GCPD spokesman Jake Smith said in a press release. Gwinnett Police Apprehend Suspect in CVS Homicide

From Lawrenceville Patch After a nearly nine month search, Gwinnett County Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of a man at a CVS in Lawrenceville. Jamad Wallace, 21 of Stone Mountain, was arrested Wednesday in DeKalb County and taken to the Gwinnett County Detention Center. Wallace is charged with murder in relation to the death of Alex Delgado Ramos, 27 of Lawrenceville last year. On March 4, 2012, officers responded to a shooting at the CVS at 1187 Grayson Highway at around 10pm. Ramos was found outside the drugstore with a gunshot to the left side of his head. News Nearby: Teen Shot, Killed in Gwinnett

Police found the body of a teenager at an address in Grayson after receiving report of a person shot. This is being investigated as a homicide.

From Loganville Patch Gwinnett County Police say that at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a report of a person shot at a home in Grayson. A male teenager was found deceased inside, apparently from a gunshot wound. Gwinnett spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith identified the victim as 14-year-old Paul Sampleton, a Grayson High School student. Police said his father came home at about 2:30 p.m., discovered his son's body, and called police. Grayson High School was on early release for the day. Police are still trying to determine if the boy walked in on a robbery or was ambushed. They don't know if he was targeted specifically, but say they are following up on leads. News Nearby: Suspect Arrested in Connection to Homicide Near Mall of Georgia

A 22-year-old Lawrenceville man has been charged in connection with the Dec. 12th death of a Buford man.

Gwinnett County Police have made an arrest in connection with the Dec. 12 death of a Buford man. Police responded to a report of gunshots at 1869 Appaloosa Lane, an apartment complex near the Mall of Georgia, at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Trevon Watson of Buford dead at the scene. According to police, a small amount of marijuana was found near Watson. Read more on Buford Patch. See also:

Updated: Woman Stabbed to Death in Gwinnett

Police say the 64-year-old woman's car was found in a parking lot at Sugarloaf Mills Mall.

Updated, Monday, Nov. 26, 12:01 a.m. Gwinnett County Police have arrested two Lawrenceville men in connection to the murder of their neighbor.  On Wednesday, police found 64 year old Parviz Moledina stabbed to death in her home on 1403 Alamein Drive in unincorporated Lawrenceville. Her 2007 Volvo station wagon was reported missing. It was later found on Thanksgiving Day outside the Bass Pro Shop at Sugarloaf Mills Mall. Police issued search warrants after searching Moledina's car. On Saturday morning, they arrested Eric Lamont Bolling and Justin Eldridge. The two men lived just down the street from Moledina at 1474 Alamein Drive. Investigators collected evidence from their home linking Bolling and Eldridge to the victim. The men were then …

Gwinnett Police say no charges pending in homicide at Extended Stay Deluxe in unincorporated Duluth.

From Duluth Patch Gwinnett County Police officers responded to a report of a person shot at the Extended Stay Deluxe at 3390 Venture Parkway in unincorporated Duluth at about 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6.  Responding officers located Kia Yvette Jeffries, 37, outside near the building. She had serious injuries to her head and face. Jeffries told officers she had shot her husband in self-defense, according to Cpl. Jake Smith in a media release. Officers located Jeffries’ husband, Earnest Mahir Abdul-Mateen, 46, lying in the hallway. He had been shot, but was able to tell officers that Jeffries had shot him. Both were transported to a local hospital for their injuries. Abdul-Mateen died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. Gwinnett County Police are calling the Lawrenceville incident an apparent homicide.

Updated, 11:09 a.m. On Tuesday evening, Gwinnett County Police found the body of a 22-year-old black male in unincorporated Lawrenceville. Police were responding to a call of "shots fired" around Bridge Walk Drive and Oak Road. They searched the area and found the body of Rashad Jones of Lawrenceville near the tennis courts. During their investigation, police talked to several people and potential suspects who said the motive behind the killing may have been a rip off involving a scam. GCPD's Cpl.
