Production for "A Friggin' Christmas Miracle," which will star Robin Williams, Joel McHale, Lauren Graham and Candice Bergen, is expected to take place all day Wednesday in front of the Norcross Station Cafe.

Crews could arrive as early as 4:30 a.m. to begin shooting the flick, which is about parents dealing with the stresses of kids and the holidays, according to the city of Norcross website. Terra Dog Bakery in Historic Downtown Norcross is having its grand opening this Saturday with free pet food, contests, pet photography and live music. The bakery, run by brothers Tim and Andrew Suggs, offers breed-specific organic dog foods, in addition to tasty dog treats such as biscuits, cakes and beef jerky. The foods come in three flavors for 26 different breeds. "Each breed has different nutritional needs, so our treats are formulated to cater to those needs based on what ailments they typically suffer from," said Tim, who owns two German shepherds. He and Andrew started the breed-specific dog food via Amazon more than a year ago, with Andrew coming from the culinary field and Tim coming from an Internet marketing background. They …

Historic Downtown Norcross took a step back in time to the 19th century last Saturday for Wild West Day. Taking place on Skin Alley and South Peachtree Street, the festival was filled with live music, food and a gunslinger. Kicking off the event was gunslinger Jim Dunham, a historian and accomplished gunslinger. He told tales of the West and did live demonstrations with his pistols, sans bullets. Judges and guests sampled barbecue from Mojito's, 45 South Cafe and Iron Horse Tavern and voted for their best picks. From the ballots, Iron Horse's pulled pork taco was the clear winner.
