Gwinnett Transit Adds Service in Norcross Area

Additional bus stops added in commercial areas along Button Gwinnett Drive, Best Friend Road, Brook Hollow Parkway, North Norcross-Tucker Road, and Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Gwinnett County Transit (GCT) implemented service enhancements to both Express and Local Service starting Monday, Jan. 28. The improvements include additional bus stops in the Norcross area along Button Gwinnett Drive, Best Friend Road, Brook Hollow Parkway, North Norcross-Tucker Road and Jimmy Carter Boulevard. Enhancements include linking bus routes, adding stops and extending service times to better meet the needs of downtown and local commuters without adding additional operating costs, according to a press release issued by Gwinnett County. “These service enhancements will eliminate some transfers and long wait times as well as add stops within walking distances of more workplaces,” said Gwinnett Transit Director Phil Boyd. “Our hope …
