Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that took place in the city of Norcross. Anibal Pacheco-Molina is accused of shooting someone in the right arm Oct. 14 on the 2100 block of Terrace Club Court. After Norcross Police investigators secured a warrant for his arrest, Pacheco-Molina was arrested around noon Nov. 20 on the 4300 block of Windward Lane in the Norcross area. "After hours of research and surveillance, fugitive investigators followed Molina’s trail to the Windward Lane location," according to a news release from Gwinnett Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Norcross Patch checked with the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office's website, and we found 49 registered sex offenders with a Norcross and Peachtree Corners address. Duone Clark, an employee at the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office, was arrested Wednesday night after allegations that he had sexual activity with an inmate in the county's custody wsbtv.com reported. Clark was charged with violation of oath by a public officer and sexual assault, the report said. An investigation is ongoing after enough evidence was secured for an arrest. Clark has since resigned from the sheriff's office, the report said. Clark is a Lilburn resident, according to the booking by the sheriff's office.

A Gwinnett County Sheriff’s deputy is on administrative leave following a June 26 arrest for driving under the influence.A Gwinnett County Police officer stopped Melvin Robinson Jr., 40, of Dacula, on Fence Road near Highway 316 after observing Robinson driving well below the posted limit, weaving, crossing a solid white line and nearly striking a curb. According to the police report, a caller reported seeing a black GMC Denali drive in a circle on I-85 northbound, north of Pleasant Hill Road. The caller advised the vehicle was traveling very slowly and weaving “all over the road.” The caller provided police with the vehicle tag number.
