Diamond DeShields to Play in U17 World Championship

Norcross High basketball player Diamond DeShields will be playing in the 2012 FIBA U17 World Championship this summer, according to ESPN. The U17 team is the third U.S. National team for DeShields, a junior at Norcross. The offense guard also won gold medals with U.S. teams for the U19 world championship team in 2011 and the U18 Americas championship team in 2010.
