Try Palomilla’s Grill House for Authentic Cuban Cuisine

This Peachtree Corners restaurant has been serving good Cuban food for over five years.

As you enter Palomilla’s you find yourself in an unassuming grill-type restaurant. But what you can assume is that after you order you’ll be served some tasty and authentic Cuban cuisine. Owner Elizardo Sanz is proud of the two restaurants that he has established here in the Atlanta area. This Palomilla’s on Spalding Drive just past Holcomb Bridge Road has been open for over five years and he has recently opened a new Palomilla’s in Johns Creek. Sanz says that “ Business in Peachtree Corners is good. It’s a really nice area and very nice customers.” In 1994 Sanz made it safely to the U.S. on a raft from Cuba; a life changing experience to be sure. The Mojitos Band Heats Up Norcross

A downtown restaurant has a hopping house band. In between tables, the servers and owners are the ones making the music.

If you're at a restaurant where the server sits down savory empanadas in front of you and then picks up an instrument to join the salsa band, you're probably at Mojitos. The Cuban eatery has its own band, comprised of people who work at the restaurant and regular patrons. Owner and piano player Luis Fernandez said that sometimes customers will request a particular song from a particular server. "Everybody kind of joins in," he explained. "We have singers, piano players, everyone gets involved."   On Friday and Saturday nights, The Mojitos Band sets the tone at this restaurant in the heart of Norcross, which serves up authentic Cuban, like Ropa Vieja and Vaca Frita, and cocktails, like the refreshing, minty drink that gives the restaurant …
