Should You Have to Reveal Your Weight or Pay a Fine for Health Care?

CVS thinks so and has put its employees on notice that they will be required to pay a $50 a month fine unless they step on the scale.

One of the big health care stories last week was a new policy by CVS Caremark that will require its employees to step on a scale and reveal their weight, along with other health-related numbers, to qualify for health care. Inside the Police Reports: A steel cable was found with one end coming from a van and the other end wrapped around an ATM sign from a CVS pharmacy in the Norcross area.

Gwinnett County Police believe a suspect or suspects attempted to steal the ATM inside a CVS pharmacy in the Norcross area by dragging it out with a cable attached to a van. Officers reported to a burglary alarm that went off at the 1190 Indian Trail Road business around 2:29 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, according to the police report. The store's front windows were broken, and police believe it was smashed with the hammer found near the glass. The Chase bank ATM was behind the glass in the store, but the ATM sign donning the bank name was not attached. The sign was located nearby with a steel cable wrapped around it, the report says. The other end of the cable was attached to an unoccupied, but running, van that was parked at the store's back …
