Gwinnett County Police spokesman says the suspect gave the teller a note saying he had a bomb.

Gwinnett County Police are looking for a man who is suspected of robbing a Chase Bank in Duluth on Monday, Feb. 18, after threatening that he had a bomb. According to a press release emailed Tuesday afternoon, police spokesman Cpl. Jake Smith said the robbery was reported at the Chase Bank at 3780 Old Norcross Road around 1:15 p.m. Monday. "The suspect gave a note to a teller indicating that he had a bomb and wanted money," Smith wrote. The suspect is described as an average-built white male in his late 40s or early 50s wearing blue jeans, tab jacket and black knit cap. (See photo attached to this file). Bomb Threat Made to Check Cashing Business

Suspect demanded $5,000 or she would blow up the place.

A bomb threat-attempted robbery was reported at Universal Check Cashing earlier this month in the city of Norcross. No injuries were reported and nothing was reported taken. According to the Norcross Police report, around 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 1 a woman came into the 6367 Jimmy Carter Boulevard store. Walking around until the last customer left, the woman retrieved a piece of paper and began to write on it. The employee working the store, 24, told police that the woman came up to her window and displayed the note, which read, "If you don't give me $5,000 I will blow the place up, I have a grenade." The employee said the suspect then went to another window and placed an unknown item underneath it. The suspect suddenly appeared to be nervous and…
