Body Found in Little Mulberry Park
Remains are the second set found this weekend in Dacula.
A man hiking in Little Mulberry Park with his son this weekend made a gruesome discovery. The pair were on a trail within the park Sunday evening around 6:30 p.m. when the man spotted a badly decomposed body. Due to the condition of the remains, investigators were unable to determine the gender of the deceased at the scene. According to a Gwinnett County Police Department press release, cause of death and identity were also not immediately apparent. The Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy. The investigation is ongoing. The body was the second discovered over the weekend in Dacula. Saturday evening, a set of skeletal remains were found in a wooded area adjacent to a small field in the 1700 block of Harbins Road.
