Norcross Mayor Appointed to GCVB Board of Directors
The Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau named Bucky Johnson to the board for 2013.
New positions have been appointed to the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau's Board of Directors for 2013, and Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson is filling one of them. According to a press release, Johnson was appointed to the GCVB Board of Directors to represent the Gwinnett Municipal Association. Johnson, who's been the mayor of Norcross since 2008, serves on many boards in the county and state, including the Atlanta Regional Commission, the Georgia Municipal Association, and the Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful Advisory Board. He was named Gwinnett's Man of the Year by Gwinnett Magazine, and became the chair of the Metro Atlanta Mayors Association last July.
