The Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau named Bucky Johnson to the board for 2013.

New positions have been appointed to the Gwinnett Convention and Visitors Bureau's Board of Directors for 2013, and Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson is filling one of them. According to a press release, Johnson was appointed to the GCVB Board of Directors to represent the Gwinnett Municipal Association. Johnson, who's been the mayor of Norcross since 2008, serves on many boards in the county and state, including the Atlanta Regional Commission, the Georgia Municipal Association, and the Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful Advisory Board. He was named Gwinnett's Man of the Year by Gwinnett Magazine, and became the chair of the Metro Atlanta Mayors Association last July. Michael Tuller and Phil Sadd have joined the community improvement district's board of directors.
The Gwinnett Village CID welcomed two new faces to its board of directors Thursday morning at its monthly public meeting. Michael Tuller and Phil Sadd are the new faces on the board, according to a press release frome the community improvement district. Sadd is the first appointment from Peachtree Corners and Tuller filled the vacant post as Gwinnett County's appointment. "I'm excited to work for both of Phil and Mike," said Chuck Warbington, executive director for the Gwinnett Village CID, in the release.
