Readers' Choice Winner: Fitness Tri

We asked, you answered: Fitness Tri was voted the Best Place to Work Out in Norcross by readers.

In Patch's second week of the "Best of Readers' Choice" series, we asked readers to vote for their favorite place to work out in Norcross. The polls are closed and the votes are in, and the winner is: Fitness Tri. Receiving the most votes in the poll, Fitness Tri has everything a regular gym offers with a few additional goodies. Cardio equipment and weights are available at Fitness Tri, which opened in November 2011, but it also has a wellness center complete with message therapy, nutritionists and chiropractors. Members can also take trendy classes such as kickboxing, belly dancing and hot hula.  "People like to work out here," said Greg Milliner, a training manager at the center. Best of Winner: Zapata

We asked, you answered: Zapata was voted the best Latin American restaurant in Norcross by Patch readers.

To kick off Patch's "Best of" series, we asked readers to vote for their favorite place for Latin American food. The polls are closed and the votes are in, and the winner is: Zapata. Receiving the most votes in the poll, Zapata is settled in Historic Downtown Norcross and offers much more than just the notorious chips-and-salsa standard. With Mayan and Aztec flourishes, the restaurant's menu has exquisite signature dishes such as the Molcajetes stew and the Sopes Haustecos. The atmosphere is fittingly festive and adds that Latin American flair without overdoing it.
