Check here each Monday for a look at what's happening in Norcross

The Norcross Patch calendar is full of news about events coming up in the weeks ahead. Here's a look at five of this week's community events.

1. Aug. 12 - The Peachtree Corners Rotary Club meets Mondays at noon at the Carlyle House in Norcross. For more information contact the Sam Evans, at:sevans@legacyplangroup.com or visit the website at:http://www.peachtreecornersrotary.org/

2. Aug. 13 - Whistle Stop Farmer's Market meets Tuesday in Thrasher Park from 4 - 8 p.m. For more information visit the website, www.whistlestopfarmersmarket.com

3. Aug. 14 - The Norcross Progressive Development Committee meets each Wednesday morning at 45 South Cafe in downtown Norcross from 8:15 a.m. - 9 a.m.

4. Aug. 14 - Wednesday Night Dinners at Norcross First United Methodist Church resume this week from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center. Call 770-448-4142, ext. 152 to make a reservation. Deadline for reservations is 12 p.m. each Monday. Cost, Adults $5, Children 4-10, $2, kids under 4 free ($15 cap per family)

5. Aug. 16 - Norcross Summer Concert Series - Bobby & The Aristocats, a nine-piece party band at Thrasher Park from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. Bring a picnic and enjoy the free concert.
