Gwinnett Village Fundraiser This Week
The proceeds of the gallery open house will go to the Gwinnett Village Community Alliance.
Like to sip on some wine and have a bite of cheese at a local gallery--for a good cause?
This Thursday, Dec. 8, the Gwinnett Village Community Alliance will hold a fundraiser at the downtown.
Tickets can be purchased for $25 at the door or $20 through the Gwinnett Village Community Alliance website. Wine and cheese will be served in the gallery space at 27 S. Peachtree St.

The proceeds will benefit the programs of the Alliance, which seeks to leverage partnerships with governments, schools, residents and non-profits to "strengthen the local economy, enhance education, strengthen neighborhoods, and promote a rich arts and cultural community."
Some of the programs are the Jump Start six-week summer school program for middle-schoolers, a local Financial Services Center and job fairs.
