What Guides Your Decision at the Polls?

Election 2012 will significantly affect the course of our nation. What guides your decision at the polls? Your answer is your vote...

Conventions, endless television ads and the upcoming debates signal that the 2012 election season is officially here.  With just a few weeks left before November 6, the stakes are unmistakably high.

The prolife movement is steadily growing.  During this upcoming election, we have the chance to really put the pro-aborts on "the ropes”.

Though voters have a variety of issues before them, some say the economy tops the list.   The economy is like many things, however; it comes and goes.  The issue of protecting all innocent lives, however is always before us, for without the right to life, all other rights are moot.

What guides your decision at the polls?

The very foundation of our country guarantees each of us due protection under the law and the right to life.  What could be more important?  The fundamental issue, then, becomes who counts as one of “us”?

Shouldn’t social justice begin in the womb?

As prolife individuals, we strive to find moral and political solutions to sanctity of life issues. Our answer – our vote – may become as important as democracy itself.  Our vote may very well determine whether the preborn – members of the human family - enjoy the protection of the law or are thrown away as garbage.

Abortion has been the defining moral issue of the last 39 years. Each year since the 1973 decision of Roe v. Wade, the U.S.A. has lost over 1.3 million unborn children a year, or 3,300 per day, one every 25 seconds  for a total of some 55 million children!

Indeed.  In addition to being a basic human rights issue, abortion is also an economic issue.   One third of our younger generation is missing; many who would now be taxpayers, business owners, and home-buyers are not here.

Judge John Noonan said, "Once or twice in a century an issue arises....so far-reaching in its consequences and so deep in its foundations that it calls every person to take a stand."

Abortion – and sanctity of life - is one of those issues.  The democratic process is enhanced each time you and I vote pro-life.

Imagine the influence your vote can have.  We will elect a President, legislators, judges and others who will make life and death decisions and begin to restore dignity and protection for all innocent human life.

Election 2012 will, no doubt, significantly affect the course of our nation.  It may, in fact, hold the key to protecting all innocent life and reversing Roe v. Wade and abortion on demand in our country.

We must speak with one voice.

GET OUT AND VOTE!
