Touchdown Club of Gwinnett Honors Football Players in Norcross

Lots of football players at Norcross High, Greater Atlanta Christian and Meadowcreek High were recognized at the club's annual awards banquet.

The Touchdown Club of Gwinnett recognized a number of amazing high school football teams, players and coaches, including from Norcross High, Meadowcreek High and Greater Atlanta Christian, at this year's awards banquet held Thursday.

Of Norcross High, Alvin Kamara was named running back of the year and Myles Autry was awarded as specialist of the year, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.

On Friday, Norcross High defeated Colquit County in the 2012 semifinals while GAC lost to Jefferson High. The Blue Devils will face Lovejoy next week for the championship.
