The documentary is about several pint-sized golfing geniuses. It will play here in Atlanta at Phipps Plaza.

U.S. Kids Golf, based in Norcross, will debut its national release of "The Short Game" on Sept. 20 in 10 markets.Β

The full-length documentary film was taped during the 2012 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in North Carolina. It features eight 7-year-old golfing prodigies, as they prepare for the national golf tournament.Β

The children are from China, France, Philippines, South Africa, and the United States. One is even nick-named "Tigress," after Tiger Woods, one reviewer commented.

"'The Short Game' highlights the best parts of junior golf - the players' love of the game and their relationships with parents, coaches, and other players," Dan Van Horn, U.S. Kids Golf President and Founder, said.

"But more than golf, the film is really about life," he added. "All ages and even non-golfers will love this movie."
