Norcross Touchdown Club Announces Annual Golf Tournament

The event will be held May 26 at the Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek. The funds from the tournament will support the Blue Devils football team.

The Norcross Touchdown Club will have its 2013 Annual Golf Tournament on May 26 at Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek.

Funds from the tournament will support the Blue Devils football team. The team will use the funds to purchase new equipment such as helmets, pads, uniforms and training equipment.

"As you consider entering our golf tournament this year, please keep in mind the opportunities that you are helping create for our kids," head football coach Keith Maloof wrote in a message for the golf tournament. "Because of your (tax deductible) financial support, our students/athletes have an equal chance to be the best. They have a chance to win on and off the field. Many of our kids will make it in life because of what football does for them."

There are several rates that one can choose to participate in the tournament:

Individual, $150: Includes one player, lunch and beverage
Hole Sponsor, $500: Includes one player, lunch, beverage and sponsorship name on hole
Corporate Sponsor, $1,000: Includes four players, lunches, beverages and sponsorship name on hole
Foursome Singles, $600: Includes four players, lunches and beverages

Door prizes and silent auction also will be included to every player. Raffle tickets start off at $20 and will be $10 for one additional ticket and $15 for two extra tickets. Donations also will be accepted if the donor wishes not to play in the tournament.

Registration starts at 11 a.m. that Tuesday and the shotgun start begins at 1 p.m. Any golfers interested in playing in the Norcross Touchdown Club's golf tournament should contact Coach Maloof at 770-582-7508 or Coach Chris Hall at Chris_L_Hall@gwinnett.k12.ga.us.
