Norcross Hoops Star Making Headlines
Jeremy Lamb, who played basketball for Norcross High, was named a Pre-season All-American.
A former Norcross High School basketball player was named an Associated Press Pre-season All-American yesterday. a 6-feet, 5-inch forward and guard, is currently a junior at UConn.
The honor is bestowed on college players by vote from a national panel of 65 members of the sports media, according to a release from his team.
Lamb has appeared in 41 games and started in 40 since his career with the Huskies began, according to stats released by the team. When he was a senior, he was captain of the team, averaging 20 points per game. He led the team to a regional championship.

He was previously named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST First Team and the Wooden Preseason Top-50.
