Video: Norcross Grad Could be Top 10 Pick in NBA Draft

Jeremy Lamb, who played for the Norcross High School Blue Devils, could be drafted as high as No. 8 in Thursday's NBA Draft.

, a 2010 grad and former basketball captain at Norcross High, is a slam-dunk choice in Thursday night's NBA Draft.

Draft prognosticators have the 6-foot-5, 180-pound being selected as high as No. 8 overall, and virtually none of the so-called "mock drafts" has him falling out of the first round.

Lamb, who , will be the fourth recent Norcross High star to put on a NBA uniform, joining Jodie Meeks, Al-Farouq Aminu and Gani Lawal.

Lamb was UConn's leading scorer as a sophomore and was a key figure in the Huskies' .

Draft experts compare Lamb's skills to that of former Indiana Pacers great Reggie Miller, who will be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame this September.

The biggest questions for Lamb Thursday will be when and where — when he will be selected and where he will play.

NBADraft.netCBSsports.com’s Jeff GoodmanYahoo SportsRotoworld.com’s Steve Alexander and Jordan Schultz of the Huffington Post all have Lamb going No. 8 overall to the Toronto Raptors.

NBA.com’s David Aldridge says it will be No. 14 to the Houston Rockets.

Hoopsworld's four predictions have him going to as high as 8th to Toronto and as low as 16th to Houston or 17th to the Dallas Mavericks.

NBA Draft Room says No. 18 to the Rockets, who have three picks in the first round.
