The Norcross High School boys basketball team is a step closer to repeating its Class 6A state championship.
The Blue Devils beat Dacula 69-67 Tuesday in the second round of the Georgia High School Association tournament. Ricky Madison had 22 points and 11 rebounds, reported by the AJC.
Norcross will play at Berkmar in the quarterfinals. Berkmar beat Walton in overtime, also Tuesday.
Norcross has won two of the last three large-school state championships.
Also Tuesday, Greater Atlanta Christian beat Model 80-62 in the Class 2A second round. The Spartans play at Jefferson in the round of eight.
