Norcross, GAC Headed to State Semifinals
The Greater Atlanta Christian boys and both teams for Norcross High won in the basketball quarterfinals this week. The semifinals for the state playoffs is Friday and Saturday at Georgia Tech and Georgia College and State University.
The Greater Atlanta Christian boys and the girls and boys teams for Norcross High, the three Norcross-area basketball teams who competed in the third round of state playoffs, won their games this week and are headed to the semifinals this weekend.
The Lady Blue Devils defeated Cherokee 76-43 in their Class AAAAAA game Tuesday. The girls will compete against Langston Hughes at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Georgia Tech.
The NHS boys defeated Berkmar 56-35 Wednesday night. North Cobb is their next competitor, and the semifinals game starts at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Tech.

In their Class AA quarterfinals game Wednesday, the Spartans won against Manchester 77-52. The GAC boys will go head-to-head against Laney at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Georgia College and State University.
If you're not able to make it out to the games Saturday, the semifinals will be streaming live via ghsa.playonsports.com. The state tournament concludes Saturday, March 9, at the Macon Centreplex.
