Cox To Manage Braves Prospects at Coolray Field Exhibition

The former Atlanta Braves skipper will lead a team of minor-leaguers against the parent club.

Former Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox will be a part of the exhibition game at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville on April 3, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Cox will manage a team of Braves farm system prospects in the game against the Braves, set for a 7:05 p.m. start. This will be the Atlanta Braves' final exhibition before their regular season opener on April 5.

Cox retired as Atlanta Braves skipper after the 2010 season, and is the fourth-winningest manager in major-league history.
