During last week's cold spell, the Gwinnett Braves' mascot, Chopper, issued a weather guarantee that temperatures on Opening Day would be warm and spring-like. The groundhog has updated his forecast and now is calling for rain Thursday, but hopes skies will clear before the 7:05pm first pitch against the Charlotte Knights.

According to the Gwinnett Braves' website, if it does rain Thursday but stops before the scheduled game time, the game will go on as planned. If it continues to rain past the start time, there will be a rain delay.

Ticket holders will not be left high and dry no matter the weather. Check out the team's Rainout Ticket Policy for more details.
