Alvin Kamara Named AJC All-Class Player of the Year

The running back has led his Norcross High football team on to victory this season.

Norcross High running back Alvin Kamara has been named The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s all-classification player of the year.

Kamara, a senior at Norcross, led the Blue Devils to victory in 2012 with an undefeated season of 15 wins. In the Class AAAAAA state championship game this month, Kamara made the two game-changing plays made a 61-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter followed by another touchdown, allowing the team to win 21-14.

In February, Kamara received a total of 105 recruitment letters from the University of Alabama. He's had a number of offers from other schools, but has not committed to a college yet.
