Norcross Are Fest is 10 Years Old! Can You Believe it?

Get ready.  Get set.  Go to Norcross Art Fest next weekend – October 5 and 6 and shop, shop, shop!  The holidays are right around the corner, so pack your arms full of artistic treats. The 160 whimsical and fun artisans have been working long hours to prepare for this annual celebration – and they can’t wait to show off their jewelry, folk art, paintings, photography, pottery, glasswork, metal sculpture and so much more. The volunteers are spirited and enthusiastic about helping out the many talented artists and happy visitors who will pack the charming downtown streets of historic Norcross.  The award-winning yearly event is 10 years old, and organizers are dancing with excitement.  No one should pass this up – it’s going to be a great party!

Thrasher Park will be rocking with continuous, live music on the comfortable stage throughout the weekend.  Festivalgoers are urged to relax for a stretch and hear great singers – then go back for more spending!

The Kidz Zone will be another hopping place where children of all ages can enjoy sand art, face painting and other cool creative goodies.  Young people and their daring parents are sure to enjoy the amazing, high-flying rides, inflatables, whistling train and Bubba – The Mechanical Bulldog!  Everyone must take a seat on the Bulldog at least one time.  It will feel like Urban Cowboy – Georgia-style.

Tasty food and fun snacks await guests. The aroma from the funnel cakes, corn dogs, barbeque, and popcorn will tantalize the taste buds. Of course, the downtown eateries are still the best around, and these great restaurants look forward to greeting neighbors and friends.  Come hungry!

The City of Norcross proudly hosts Norcross Art Fest and the streets will shine with color, creativity – and of course- imagination!  Proceeds from the Norcross Art Fest will be paid to the Norcross Lions Club for distribution to the charities they graciously support.
