Our Rotary Student of the Month is Angeline Guerra. Angeline is a wonderful student and an enthusiastic learner. She shows initiative, and is always looking for ways to be involved in the classroom. She enjoys helping around the classroom, whether it is straightening a messy area or collecting papers from her classmates. Angeline is committed to doing her best and is constantly seeking new challenges. I can count on Angeline to take responsibility for her learning and she works hard on any assignment without giving up.  When Angeline encounters an area of difficulty she does not hesitate to ask for assistance and continue to work until she understands. Her positive attitude and willingness to do anything makes her a valued member of my class.

Angeline is a great friend to everyone, offering a hug and encouragement when she sees a classmate feeling down. While working in groups, Angeline welcomes the leadership role and treats other students with fairness and understanding. She loves helping others when they need assistance. She is courteous to all and shows good manners in the classroom.  Angeline sets an example of excellence in behavior and cooperation.

In addition to Angeline’s outstanding character, she earned a place on the Principal’s honor roll for achieving all As for the nine weeks. She is a self-motivated and hard-working student, making her a suitable choice to receive the Rotary Award. I expect to see her continue to achieve great things in the future.
