Layla Riggs is a third grader at Beaver Ridge Elementary who I feel deserves the Peachtree Rotary Student of the Month award. Layla is a hard-working, dedicated student who not only strives for her best but also encourages classmates to achieve their best as well. Layla is driven and diligent in her work habits. She is constantly setting an example for what excellent class participation looks like and often adds insightful comments to class discussions.

What I appreciate most about Layla is her kindheartedness. Layla has a peaceful demeanor and is a friend to all. Her thoughtfulness and friendly personality make her a leader in building a positive classroom culture. I can always count on Layla to lift the spirits of a student who is feeling down or welcome a new student. Because of this, Layla is highly respected by her peers. Layla makes our classroom a more joyful and welcoming place each day and always gives her best effort. For these reasons, I believe that Layla is well deserving of this award.

Sincerely,
