Norcross Resident Chosen as New Student Ambassador for Gwinnett Tech

Kevin Estrella is one of the new 26 Kappa Class of Student Ambassadors at Gwinnett Technical College.

Gwinnett Technical College has chosen 26 students as the Kappa Class of Student Ambassadors. One of those students is Kevin Estrella, a networking specialist from Norcross.

Serving Gwinnett Tech until fall 2013, the ambassadors are the face of the Lawrenceville college by assisting with school-wide and recruitment activities, according to a press release. They serve as hosts for school visitors, represent the college at campus functions and participate in a wide range of community outreach projects.

“Our new student ambassadors bring great diversity to their role – in perspective, life experience, age and outlook – and represent 17 different programs of study. We look forward to their service to Gwinnett Tech, our students and our community,” said Rachel Mariano, student life director, in the release.
