Let your holiday entertainment start right here in Norcross!
Grab the kids and take the family to see Norcross High School’s production of Charles Dickens’ classic tale, A Christmas Carol.
The Norcross Players proudly presents this enduring story of the cold hearted, miserly Scrooge. The greedy protagonist, famous for his Bah! Humbugs!, is visited by apparitions who show Scrooge his ultimate fate for his lack of compassion, kindness and generosity. Watch the transformation and redemption of Scrooge as he moves through the story.
Though you may have seen the tale many times, you’ll be riveted by seeing it through the eyes of Norcross High School students.
The Norcross Players has a tradition of presenting stellar shows at an accessible price for the community. A Christmas Carol fits right in with that tradition. It’s live theatre at its best, under the direction of NHS drama teacher Gina Parrish.
Parrish demands performance excellence and dedication from her students. She ensures that the sets and costumes are top notch. The goal, according to Parrish, is for the audience to walk away from the theatre, having been thoroughly entertained or enlightened in some way.
Put this timeless tale on your list for the holidays at the Norcross High School Theatre. This is a full length show with intermission. Concessions are available.
Nightly performances are on December 5th, 6th, and 7th at 7:00p.m. A Sunday matinee is on December 9th at 2:00p.m. Tickets at the door: $7 for general admission, $10 for priority seating.
