Norcross Area School Enrollment Numbers Still Down
Numbers expected to be close to prediction for district overall, with growth seen in other areas of Gwinnett.
Gwinnett Public Schools has released its third round of enrollment numbers, with one more set of final numbers anticipated in September in the “day-after-Labor-Day” count.
Enrollment in the state’s largest school district was 161,698 on Mon., Aug. 22, putting the district 761 students below forecast. Norcross area schools were all down in enrollment, except Meadowcreek High School.
At this time last year, the district had grown by 1,280 students, according to spokesman Jorge Quintana.
