Meadowcreek Grad Signs with NFL's Baltimore Ravens

Former Meadowcreek safety Cyhl Quarles signed as a rookie free agent.

Former student Cyhl Quarles recently signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.

The articles reports that Quarles, a safety standing at 6-foot-2 and 213 pounds, joined them after the NFL Draft this past weekend.

He completed his four-year career at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where he played both strong safety and free safety.

In other Meadowcreek news, junior going to an prom after-party last Sunday, which also injured four other students. The driver, Dejon Wideman, was arrested Monday for multiple charges including vehicular homicide.Β 

On Monday, the school also celebrated its 25th anniversary, having opened its doors in 1986.
