Gwinnett County, Norcross Schools Surpass Enrollment Projections

Meadowcreek High School posted the biggest difference. It had 200 more students than projected.

Gwinnett County Public Schools just keeps on growing, and the schools in Norcross are no different.

Overall, post-Labor Day counts show that the system had a total of 168,696 students. That's 2,029 more students than was projected.

In the Norcross area, seven schools had more students enrolled during the Sept. 3 count than was previously projected. In fact, Meadowcreek High School posted the district's largest difference: 204 students more than expected.


And, Norcross High currently has the district's second-largest enrollment, of 3,590 students. Only Mill Creek High in Hoschton had more students, with 3,721.

Enrollment: 1,120; 25 fewer than projected

Enrollment: 1,725; 6 more than projected

Enrollment: 814; 96 fewer than projected

Stripling ES
Enrollment: 1,214; 53 more than projected

Pinckneyville M
Enrollment: 1,289; 3 fewer than projected

Summerour MS
Enrollment: 1,420; 43 more than projected

Norcross HS
Enrollment: 3,590; 123 more than projected

Enrollment: 1210; 73 fewer than projected

Rockbridge ES
Enrollment: 1104; 22 more than projected

Meadowcreek HS
Enrollment: 3102; 204 more than projected
