GIVE Center and Online Campus Moving Out of Norcross

Property on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard across from Technology Park to be the future home of two GCPS programs.

Gwinnett County Public School leaders have purchased property throughout the county to use as sites for future schools including a parcel in Peachtree Corners that fronts Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

Plans are to convert the 160,000 square-foot building at 5556 Peachtree Industrial Blvd. to classrooms for GIVE Center West and for GCPS's new online campus. The building is located on the east side of the road across from the entrance to Technology Park.

"In the future, the school district plans to move in two of its programs, Gwinnett County Online Campus and GIVE (Gwinnett Intervention) Center West," said Jorge Quintana, spokesman for GCPS.

It is not clear what will come of the current campus on Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross.

The building sits on a 14-acre parcel that is currently being used by the school district to house transportation services including parking for school buses, a classroom-setting training area for school bus drivers, as well as offices for transportation supervisors and warehouse space.
