Georgia United Credit Union Donates Supplies to Beaver Ridge Elementary

Georgia United Credit Union held the supply drive to benefit Title 1 schools.

Members of Georgia United Credit Union donated nearly 1,000 school items to two Gwinnett County schools, including one here in Norcross.

Beaver Ridge Elementary received 484 items through the school supply drive, while Ferguson Elementary in Duluth received 453 items, according to district officials.

The supply drive was sponsored by the Georgia Credit Union and Star 94 Radio to benefit local Title 1 schools (those with a number of low-incme families) near the 16 branch locations across the
state.

Across the state, a total of 8,251 items were collected for Georgia schools.
